Configuring the Microsoft SharePoint destination options

The Microsoft SharePoint destination options specify the SharePoint site and library to which to publish documents from a source system.

Notes

To configure the Microsoft SharePoint destination options:

  1. In BlueCielo Application Manager, expand the name of the publishing job in the configuration tree that you want to configure.
  2. Select the Configuration branch in the configuration tree. The job's configuration pages appear in the right pane.
  3. Click the Destination tab. The Destination configuration page appears.
  4. From the Type list, select Microsoft SharePoint. The Microsoft SharePoint options appear.
  5. Select options using the descriptions in the following table.

Option Description

Site address

Type the URL of the destination Microsoft SharePoint site and click Go to populate the Library list with the names of document libraries found at the site.

Authenticate with Microsoft Online Services ID

Select this option if the SharePoint server resides outside of your corporate domain. The URL typed in Site address must specify the HTTPS protocol. Then type the credentials in the Microsoft Online Services ID and Password text boxes.

Note    This option requires installation of Windows Identity Foundation as described in Publisher computer requirements.

Document library group

Subsite

If the destination is a subsite of the URL specified in Site address, type the name of the subsite.

If the name of the subsite is stored in a property in the source document, enable Override subsite using property value from source document and select the property name in the list.

Library

Select the name of the document library where you want to publish the documents.

If the name of the library is stored in a property in the source document, enable Override library using property value from source document and select the property name in the list.

Timeout

The length of time in seconds for Publisher to wait for a response from SharePoint before aborting the publishing job. Type a number or accept the default.

Content type group

Change to

Enable this option to assign a single SharePoint content type to all published documents and then select the name of the content type in the list.

Use content type of the SharePoint source document

Enable this option if the source system is also SharePoint and you want to assign the same SharePoint content type to all published documents.

Use property value from source document

If the name of the SharePoint content type is stored in a property in the source document, enable this option and select the property name in the list.

Destination folder group

Folder

Type the name of the folder in the destination library to publish documents to.
  1. Click Save to save your changes.
